1. What this site is
This website is a planning resource and referral service for backyard court and green construction. It hosts free educational articles and tools and lets you send a project request so we can connect you with vetted local court builders as coverage opens. HomeCourtPath is not a contractor and does not perform construction. Using the site means you accept these terms.
2. Project requests and matching
Submitting the project request form asks us to contact you and, where coverage exists, to introduce you to one or more vetted builders; it does not create a construction contract, charge you anything, or obligate anyone. Matching depends on real coverage: we are building the network region by region, and if no vetted builder serves your area yet we will tell you so. Any construction agreement, price, schedule, workmanship, and warranty is strictly between you and the builder you hire, and their written contract governs that work.
3. How we make money, and our promise
The service is free for homeowners. Builders in our network pay us a referral fee when they take on work we introduced; that is the entire business model, disclosed here and on the site. Our promise about your information: your details go to vetted local builders, or nowhere. We do not sell requests to lead resellers or blast lists. Vetting reflects checks we perform at the time a builder joins the network; it is not a guarantee of any builder's future performance, and you should always verify licensing and insurance yourself before signing.
4. Educational content
Articles and tools are provided for general planning information, with the sourcing and honesty rules described in our editorial standards. Costs and timelines are typical published ranges, not quotes. Nothing here is engineering, legal, or financial advice, and your local building department's requirements always control over anything written here. See the full disclaimer.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no scraping the request form with bots, no submitting other people's personal information, no attempting to disrupt the service. We may decline or discontinue service where these terms are abused.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeCourtPath is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or from introductions we make, and we are not a party to any construction contract. Liability for construction work rests with the builder you hire under your written agreement with them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service grows; the date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here.
